The Owl of Dreams was created as I processed increasingly frequent intrusive thoughts on mortality, and so it became a kind of “memento mori” to me - a reminder that life is ephemeral and each day should be treasured. 

 The owl was my way of representing my struggle to claw my way back out of the numbness I’d fallen into, to pursue with renewed tenacity my dream of a life filled with art. My dream to live a life I won’t regret as I drift off to sleep.

I hope the owl will guide you as well, as you pursue your own dreams.

Original paintings will typically ship separately from other items in the shop.

Please allow 1-2 weeks for your painting to be packaged with care and shipped. Charcoal drawings are shipped matted and sandwiched between foam core board to keep shipping materials from smudging the charcoal.

Paintings are shipped with insurance and may require your signature upon arrival.

International shipping varies widely and what you see at checkout will be an estimate. If it differs, I will either send you an invoice if shipping is more, or a refund if it turns out you overpaid.

UK VAT is charged at checkout. All other customs taxes and fees are not included in the price.
